Oleksiy (Alex) Domashenko is an accomplished investment management executive with 20 years of experience in portfolio management, trading, fixed income, equities, treasury, and asset-liability management. Based in Miami, Florida, he is the CEO of International Investments & Consulting, Founding Partner of iWealth, and Founder of IIC Accounting & Taxes LLC. He is an enrolled agent admitted to represent taxpayers before the IRS and a registered investment adviser representative. His career combines strategic financial leadership, risk management, and hands-on expertise in building investment processes for leading European financial institutions.
From 2014 to 2023, he headed the Investment Management, Treasury and Capital Markets Department of UNIQA Ukraine, part of the Vienna-based UNIQA Insurance Group, where he grew assets under management about sixfold. His proprietary bank-rating model protected the insurer during Ukraine’s 2014–2016 banking crisis and was adopted by the Motor (Transport) Insurance Bureau of Ukraine, whose Investment Committee he chaired. Earlier, as Head of Investment Management at Raiffeisen Aval Asset Management, he managed 13 mutual funds, created Ukraine’s only gold-focused investment fund, and led the Money Market Fund to become the country’s best-performing open-end fund for three consecutive years. Holding an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) designation, Oleksiy brings to the Glonary Awards deep financial expertise, a rigorous analytical approach, and a strong understanding of risk management, capital growth, and sustainable business leadership.
